Makealong 2025 Workshop Series

New for 2025! Join my in-person Makealong workshop series at StART Studio in Wymondham, Norfolk. Spend five relaxing evenings with a small group of fellow makers as we create beautiful felt flowers together. During each session we will create the make/s from my 2025 felt flower Makealong.

What to expect:

• 5 x two-hour sessions: We'll meet from 6.30pm-8.30pm on the following Mondays in 2025:
  • 31st March
  • 28th April
  • 2nd June
  • 30th June
  • 21st July
• Expert guidance: Each workshop begins with a demonstration, followed by hands-on creation time. I'll be available throughout the session to offer help and guidance, so you don't have to go it alone! 
• All-inclusive: All materials and essential tools (glue guns, scissors, etc.) are provided for use during the sessions. You are welcome to bring your own scissors if you have a pair you like to use. We will be cutting felt as well as paper templates, so I recommend having a separate pair of scissors to use just for cutting your felt. You will be able to take your materials (felt, wire etc.) home at the end of each session.
• Refreshments: Tea and coffee will be provided during the session.
• Flexible pace: No need to worry about finishing during the session. Take your materials home and continue making at your own pace.
• The Makealong Mystery: Each time unveils a new project, culminating in a stunning display at the end of the series. The final reveal is a delightful surprise!

Series includes:

• Five engaging workshops: Two hours of relaxing creative time each session.
• Your chosen Makealong supplies bundle: A choice of felt colour palettes and project options will be available from February 14th. I will contact you before the first workshop to confirm which option you would like to choose.  
  

Who can join:

• This series is perfect for both beginner and experienced felt flower makers.
• Suitable for adults aged 18 and above.
  

Booking & payment:

Payment must be made at the time of booking and covers the entire five-workshop series, including one Makealong supplies bundle (this will be supplied at the first workshop). Please note that discount codes cannot be used towards the purchase of workshop tickets.

About StART Studio:

StART Studio is a beautiful art and pottery studio in the heart of Wymondham, hosting flexible and affordable classes and experiences for all ages. Founded by professional artist and qualified teacher, Sarah, the studio is an inspiring and friendly space, perfect for releasing your inner artist or crafter!

• Address: 16 Market Place, Wymondham, Norfolk NR18 0AX
• Parking: There is no parking available on the premises itself, but there are a number of paid public car parks available within a short walking distance. 

Cancellation & Refund Policy:

• If we need to cancel: If we need to cancel a workshop, you'll be notified immediately. In case of complete series cancellation, a full refund will be issued. For individual session cancellations, we'll offer an alternative date or a full refund for that session.
• If you need to cancel: For series or single workshop cancellations, please notify me at least one week in advance. Refunds (minus the cost of any materials already used) can only be issued up to 7 days before the workshop date. After this period, if you cannot make the workshop, your payment will be retained as I may be unable to fill the space. In the event that you miss a single workshop, written instructions will be provided for the project so you can catch up at home. Your space can be transferred to another person as long as 48 hours notice is given.
  
• Non-attendance: In the event of non-attendance or arriving late to the workshop, it is not possible to provide alternative time, or for a workshop to be rescheduled. 
   

Important Notes:

• Health & Safety: Before booking, please review the health and safety guidelines, which prioritise your well-being and the studio environment.
• Wool allergy: Please note that we will be using wool-blend felt and 100% wool felt balls during the projects.
• If you have a disability, please make me aware of this before the start of the course or when you arrive at the studio so that appropriate adjustments can be made in the interest of your safety, and so that we can make you are aware of the procedure that we will follow in the event of a fire.
