Easy guide to downloading & unzipping your files
On a Computer
Windows (10 or 11)
- Download the file: Click the download link provided. Your computer will save the file automatically.
- Locate the download: Open your file explorer and go to your Downloads folder (or wherever you chose to save it). Look for the folder with a zipper on the icon.
- Extract the files: Right-click the folder and select Extract All... from the menu.
- Choose a destination: Decide where you want to save the unzipped files (by default, it will save them right there in your Downloads folder).
- Click Extract. A new, regular folder will open up containing your files.
Mac
- Download the file: Click the download link. The file will download directly to your Mac.
- Locate the download: Open Finder and click on your Downloads folder in the left sidebar to find the .zip file.
- Unzip it: Double-click the file. Your Mac will automatically unzip it, creating a normal folder right next to the original zip file.
On a Mobile Device
iPhone & iPad
- Download the file: Tap the download link. A prompt will ask if you want to download the file; tap Download.
- Locate the download: Open the built-in Files app. Go to the Browse tab and tap on your Downloads folder.
- Unzip it: Tap the .zip file once. A new, regular folder containing your items will instantly appear right next to it. Tap that folder to access your files.
Android
- Download the file: Tap the download link. You will usually see a notification at the top of your screen when it is finished.
- Locate the download: Open your device's file manager app (usually named Files, My Files, or Files by Google). Navigate to your Downloads folder and tap the .zip file.
- Extract the files: A pop-up window will appear showing you what is inside. Tap Extract at the bottom of the screen.
- Once finished, tap Done. Your unzipped files are now ready to use in that same folder.
Troubleshooting Tip: If a file won't open on a phone or tablet, it might be a type of file that mobile devices can't preview by default. Try opening it on a computer instead!
