MAKEALONG FAQs
Yes! While many of my makers love the surprise of the weekly reveal, I know some of you like to see the final destination before you start the journey. You can take a sneak peek at the finished Spring 2026 wreath by following this link to my spoiler page.
The making time varies each week, but I recommend setting aside at least 1–2 hours for a relaxing session. If you choose the cut-your-own option, please allow extra time for cutting your shapes before you begin assembly.
Yes! The Makealong is designed to be accessible for everyone. Each step is explained in clear video tutorials. If you are a complete beginner, I recommend the pre-cut shapes box so you can focus entirely on the assembly and shaping techniques.
No, physical boxes do not include printed instructions. Instead, everyone who joins the Makealong gets access to comprehensive video tutorials and printable templates. My videos are designed to be step-by-step and very easy to follow, making them perfect for visual learners!
If you prefer to follow a written guide, full written instructions are available exclusively to paid members of my Happy Flower Makers club.
No. This series is designed for traditional hand-making! The pre-cut option is laser-cut by me in the studio, and the cut-your-own is designed to be cut with scissors using my printable templates.
However, if you do own a cutting machine, members of my Happy Flower Makers club have exclusive access to SVG files for this series. This allows members to use their machines to cut the shapes and make the spring wreath again and again in any colours they choose!
I currently ship within the UK and to the USA. Please note that for US orders, delivery times take longer and I cannot guarantee arrival before the Makealong begins on March 20th.
Due to current regulations, I am unfortunately unable to ship physical items to the EU. However, you can still join the fun from anywhere in the world by accessing the digital-only versions (available through my Happy Flower Makers club).
Don't worry! You can craft at your own pace. Once each video tutorial is released, it remains available, so you can catch up whenever your schedule allows.
Absolutely! Because orders ship from March 2nd, they make a wonderful Mother’s Day gift. Just enter the recipient’s address at checkout and add your wording to the 'notes' box - I’ll be happy to include a gift message for you.
I highly recommend using a hot glue gun. The glue sets almost instantly, which is essential for building the structure of felt flowers. My patterns are not tested with PVA or fabric glue, which often take too long to dry for this type of 3D construction.
I use only high-quality wool-blend felt (a mix of wool and rayon). It is soft to the touch, durable, and much easier to work with than synthetic acrylic felt, ensuring your wreath remains an heirloom-quality piece for years to come.
