Advent Makealong 2026

After the sell-out success of my first Advent Makealong last year, I'm bringing it back for 2026. I'm keeping the format the same (12 makes in 12 days), but the final design will be a brand new piece. Here's all you need to know about the project, including the all-important pre-order dates and information.

What is the Advent Makealong?

12 projects, 12 days, 1 handcrafted keepsake to treasure forever. My Advent Makealong is 12 days of finding joy, slowing down, and getting creative in the countdown to Christmas. 

  • This is a step-by-step project, broken into small, manageable chunks for a relaxed pace throughout December.
  • I’ve chosen 12 days instead of 24 because I know how busy the season gets, and I want you to be able to finish this!
  • All the supplies you need - including felt, felt balls, and wires - will be found in my 12 Days of Christmas Advent Box. As usual, you'll just need to bring your own tools to assemble the items.
  • To make it even easier, every box comes with pre-cut felt pieces. No need to spend time cutting out templates; just grab your glue gun and start making!
  • Each day’s project is designed to take around an hour (sometimes more), and each one comes with a video tutorial to guide you.
  • You’ll finish with a beautiful piece that you can keep and cherish for years to come.

What are we making?

After last year's project, I asked my members what they'd like to make this year.  Another wreath? A garland? A table centrepiece? But, when I looked at the answers to help with my planning, I had a problem: there wasn't a clear winner!

So, I have designed this year's project as... an ALL-IN-ONE!

Think of it as a use-it-how-you-want piece that can be moved and adapted throughout the festive season. Drape it along your mantelpiece when the tree goes up, hang it on the living room door to welcome visitors, and move it to the centre of the dining table when you sit down to eat.

How is this different from a Handmade Florist craft kit?

  • Boxes will be limited and once sold out, I won't be making any more!
  • There are no printed instructions inside the box. You'll be able to access a video each day from 1st-12th December showing you how to make that day's project. Written instructions are only available to paid members of my Happy Flower Makers club (see below). 
  • The felt shapes come pre-cut. These are laser cut onto a sheet of felt, so all you need to do is snip away the shapes before you begin making each project.
